This video will most likely be my final look at The Sandbox before it is quietly shelved some time in the next 12-24 months. It’s still fascinating just how much hype and money was poured into creating this, yet how misguided it all seems to be. It’s like the people making these games have never played real games before, and they have absolutely no idea what the market wants.
I’m not an expert, but I can assure you that players do not want an overly-monetized platform for corpo-generated slop.
